Nothing is worse than a boring party so be sure that your Christmas party is a hit this year and throw a party with some Christmas party games. Don’t worry so much about decor or the music, party games are more important as they’ll entertain and get party guests involved and having fun. They’ll remember the party for years to come! This party game idea is so easy and simple, all you will need is your very favorite CD of Christmas songs. It’s that simple.

You’ve seen “The Singing Bee.” Have your very own Christmas song lyrics bee with your friends and family at your next party and run a game just like they do on TV! You’ve see it before. Play the song. Pause the song. The contestant guesses the next lyric. Consult a song book or printed lyrics or the Internet if there is any uncertainty about what the next lyric is. You might have to do this yourself as both the party host and the host of the Christmas song singing bee. Be sure to keep score as well. With the popularity of the show, this exciting party game is sure to have you throwing a smashing success of a party.

Losing Poker like a Winner

Posted in Enjoyment, Gaming World, Wheel Of Luck by admin on the September 3rd, 2008

Before we talk about winning at poker, I’d like to chat about something that many players don’t bother to learn, and it ends up costing in the long run. There is a certain panache to losing well that has been neglected in the playing community, both in live games as well as online. A few paragraphs of hate online are just as irritating and awkward as a hissy fit in person.

A poor poker loser is a welcome deletion from any table, while a gracious one is always welcomed back. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen countless situations where anger is justified, be it a big talker at the table, or someone playing a crummy hand and lucking out with the community cards. But keep in mind that no one enjoys seeing a blow up. It wrecks the table’s mood and sucks the fun out of the game.

Mind you, I’m not saying that you need to grin like an idiot when all your money’s gone, I mean, come on, you lost- it’s okay to be frustrated. You can say that you’re not excited about how it turned out, but shake hands, say a “good game” or two, and you won’t be thought of as a loser. That’s classy poker if ever here was such a thing.
